Meet Allison and Aidan. Allison is gorgeous and Aidan is, well, a beautiful baby! Allison misses her husband dearly and Aidan misses his Daddy more than he’ll ever know. Who is this mystery man? Ramsay. I went to high school with the punk (just kidding!) and now he’s married with a sweet, adorable, chubby-cheeked baby. Ramsay is currently serving the United States Army in Iraq and has not seen his precious son or his beautiful wife since a few weeks after Aidan was born…about 4 months ago. While Aidan and Allison wait for “Daddy” to come home in the Fall, we decided to take some pictures to cheer him up until he comes home! We met up under the Naval Academy Bridge in Annapolis…I used to spend many-a-high school days in this park. It was the perfect place for Aidan to be outside and experience the water – for the first time.
Have I mentioned how adorable Aidan is? I offered to take him home with me, but Allison wouldn’t let me. The kid is rolling all over the place, smiling, belly-laughing and making drool like it was his bizz-nasss! I cannot believe how much he’s grown in only 4 months. Remember when I took these pictures of him only a week after he was born? My, oh my, how fast these little ones change.
Anyway, it was such a fun afternoon and I’m glad I was able to help out and send something off for Ramsay for his first Father’s Day. I certainly hope it’s a memorable one, Leigh Family! Thanks for letting me be a part of it!
Enjoy!
See? I told you, just SO stinkin’ sweet! I love a good, toothless grin, don’t you?
Mmm… mama and baby time.
Hello, Aidan. Suddenly I have the urge to pinch his cheeks.
One of my favorites from the day… such a sweet moment between these two.
Oh, how many silly faces adults make to get kids to laugh?? Glad I caught this one…
Please take note of the Naval Academy Bridge in the background. I miss this place.
This was 36 seconds before Allison decided to put Aidan’s feet in the water. For the first time. Have you ever seen a baby scream its head off? Well, I have.
My favorite from the day…
Happy {early} Father’s Day, Ramsay/Daddy!!!!
