Picture a photographer’s dream: dreamy light, a seaside setting, seersucker suits with boat shoes, fabulous details and the most amazing couple. Wrap it all into one and you have Amy and Chad’s wedding. The day was gorgeous. The sun behaved itself and gave us the perfect temperature for a late July date, and there was the most delicious breeze coming off the river. Amy looked like a vision with her vintage pearls and sparkly shoes. Her groom was just as handsome in his pale blue seersucker suit. The two said their “I Do’s” on a cliff overlooking the river in charming Leonardtown, Maryland and all was right with the world. Seriously.

During dinner, there was a long line of toasts…each one pouring with the kindest words for Amy and Chad. It was not hard to guess what wonderful people they are and how much they are loved by their friends and family. I was so honored to be a part of their special day and capture these memories they will always remember.

It was so cute to see how close Amy is with Chad’s Mom. She was helping Amy put on her pearls here and they just had a quick moment for sheer excitement. Love it!
