Easter Bunnies

Note to self: When photographing toddlers, do NOT – I repeat – DO NOT wear heels, wedges or platform shoes of any kind!

Thank you for listening. Good-bye forever.

Ok, I’m back. I love my little nephew because he is the coolest little sucker that ever walked. Mr. Ben, who just turned ONE in February is all over the place, keeping Mom, Dad and everyone else around him on their toes! He moves at an unbelievable pace and has the widest selection of expressions. I think I caught just about all of them he could whip out on Sunday!

I met up with Nick and Amanda at an Easter Egg hunt at Amanda’s old high school in Catonsville! Unfortunately, I missed the 2 minute Easter Egg hunt, but I was there to capture some action afterwards! Spring is so beautiful in Baltimore, and we were able to take full advantage of the cherry blossoms and other array of blooming goodness that was going on!

We then headed over to my in-law’s home for some more shots. Every year, my mother-in-law hangs little eggs on a tree in her front yard, so naturally, Amanda wanted some pictures of Ben (the first Grandchild on the Barrick side) and the infamous Easter Tree! Oh man, was Ben moving fast! I think I had my camera on continuous shot most of the afternoon! Anyway, he is such a sweet little boy and growing SO fast. The boy will certainly be a heart-breaker when he’s older too… look out, Ladies! It didn’t take him long to figure out there was candy inside the eggs. He’s a smart little man!

Overall, it was a beautiful day and so much fun to capture this fun age for Nick and Amanda!

Oh, and Dear Ben, Please stop growing. Now. Thank you, Aunt Melissa.

Bottoms Up

Umm, this kid could be a little model…Seriously? Look at those eyes. Also, I’ll have you know, it took Nick and Amanda about 30 minutes to get that tie on. How is it staying on? Dental floss. Poor kid, hopefully he won’t remember that day 20 years from now!

Walk of Life

Thanks Nick and Amanda for letting me play around with the poor kid. I’m sure he slept great that night! He was such a good sport!
