Confession #19032: My name is Melissa, and I’m addicted to sun flare.

Now that I have that off my chest, I’d like to talk to you about Nick and Cathy. Remember their engagement session? It was SO much fun and I really enjoyed getting to know both Nick and Cathy. They are such amazing people with the kindest hearts and widest smiles. Nick is a bit shy and Cathy is super outgoing…the compliment each other perfectly.

Nick & Cathy tied the knot at Holy Angels Church waayyy down in the “7th District” (as it’s known by the locals). It was a beautiful ceremony, completely packed with people who love and support them. After a few pictures, the bridal party loaded up on the largest party bus I’ve ever seen and headed to the party! There were a whopping 400-some people there, which made for one memorable party. Everyone danced the night away, including Nick – shy in person he may be, but get that man on a dance floor, turn on “Foot Loose” and let him go! And Cathy isn’t far behind him 😉

It was a great party and I was so honored to be a part of it! Thank you, Nick and Cathy, for believing in me as one of the first couples to book me for their wedding! You guys are the best and I wish you nothing but pure happiness in your new marriage!

I was on the verge of tears for their first dance. The song was by Brad Paisley and they were singing it to each other. Love Cathy’s face here!

I love these last three, but this is my proof that I’m a sun flare addict. I just love it.
