I walked with their mother down to their dock. Her entire family – kids, grandkids, sons-in-law, husband, dogs – all before her, loading onto the family sailboat for another picture. I looked over at her, her eyes swelling with joy and pride for the life she and her husband created. I told her, “You must feel so blessed, having your whole family close by and so tight-knit.” She responded, “Yes. Blessed beyond measure.”
There is so much to say about this family, yet there’s just so little. There are only two words to describe how this family seems to “make it work” so simply: Love and Kindness. Just from the brief time I spent with Rachel and her family, I felt how accepting they are of one another, just as they are. They are also so kind to each other, it just amazes me that I could even see it in the pictures.
You all are so blessed and I hope that you continue to love each other just as the fun and quirky family you are! Thanks for letting me tag along for the afternoon! You guys are the greatest!
It all started with these two.
Four Girls Later…
Then you add some more boys and babies into the mix and you get this…
Then the family turns the attention to these little rug rats!
Here’s Rachel and her beautiful family. She has TWINS! She’s the one who orchestrated this whole thing (Thank you, Rachel!)
Here’s one of Rachel’s twin girls. I love this picture…most of all, the wispy hair.
I dare you to chew on those baby rolls through your computer screen. Mini-cowboy.
Thanks again everyone for sharing your afternoon with me! I wish you all the best!
