There’s something romantic about jet-setters. Always running off into the sunset, catching a train at the last moment, or waving good-bye to your love from the window of an airplane. There was plenty of romance at Union Station in Washington, D.C. on one early Saturday morning. Especially between newlyweds, Jessica and Bobby.
I spotted them in front of me in a line at Starbucks. Actually, they spotted me…I was still half asleep. It was no matter, we all downed our espresso and whisked past the long line of train travelers to our first destination within the gorgeous monstrosity of a building. The setting was perfect for them. Jessica looked like a true jet-setter in her daring leather jacket and Bobby – a natural – iPhone in tow.
I love being in a new location. Although I’ve been there before, it’s quite different when I have a camera attached to my hand. The architecture, the mood, the lighting… it was all so inspiring and mysterious. Thank you Jess and Bobby for suggesting the location, but honestly, YOU made the shots. You both are so fun to photograph, and thank you for taking me out of my “outdoor comfort zone” to the great indoors. Before you leave for Mexico in a few days on your honeymoon, I wish you both a safe trip and I hope you’ll collect lots of memories there, where you kick-off your new life together.
Enjoy!
Isn’t Jessica gorgeous? Those eyes and perfect skin!
Kissing on the steps at Union Station.
Ahh… one of my favorites. I love this walkway.
In true Jet-setter fashion…
My favorite from the day… love in the midst of chaos.
