It was freezing that morning, but they came out anyway. First stop was Starbucks (of course) for some coffee. They shared some cuddles as they stood in line. It was 8am and she was so giggly and every time she laughed, he turned to look at her with a huge smile. We walked along the city streets of Old Town Alexandria, and it was like I wasn’t even there. They walked, held hands, snuggled (because it was SO COLD), laughed and kissed. The morning light was perfect: soft and dreamy. A lovely foreshadowing of the new life they are starting together.

Grace and Jameson are both studying to be lawyers. They had spent a lot of time dating in the charming streets of Alexandria, so it was only appropriate that we meet there for pictures. I had never been before (shocking, I know…there must have been at least 3 Starbucks and countless boutiques just on the main street!), but I loved the feel of the empty city streets just starting to wake up. We hit the water front first, then walked along up to a fabulous Farmer’s Market right in the square! Grace’s laughs lit up Jameson’s face and kept them both warm that morning. Congratulations Grace and Jameson! Good luck with all of your wedding planning 🙂
