They fell in love with the vineyard idea. It was one of the prettiest afternoons of the Spring and there was a thunderstorm rolling in over the hill. The lighting was perfect and they wanted to share a bottle of wine for their shoot. It was an afternoon of shooting bliss for me, and a perfect way to document John and Christine’s engagement!
We met at Running Hare Vineyards in Prince Frederick, Maryland. It’s a new vineyard on gorgeous grounds and a perfect setting for anything romantic! John, Christine and I had spent several weeks e-mailing back and forth in order to plan their session with a theme that fit them both. With props and a bottle of wine in hand, we shot until the approaching thunderstorm kicked us out of the fields. It was one of the most fun sessions I’ve photographed!
