We were the best of girl friends…back in middle school. I cannot even begin to tell you how many notes we exchanged during classes, how many dances we prepped for on Friday nights, how many HOURS on the phone we spent (pre-text-messaging, for all you youngin’s!), and how many times we got in trouble during class because of talking or giggling too much. Yup. Typical middle school girls, we were.

I am always thrilled when I get an e-mail from someone I was friends with growing up. They’re engaged. Having a baby. Getting hitched. I am so honored to document anything for these people. I love being able to reconnect with them again, after so many years. Last summer, my sweet friend Kalyn tied the knot to a fantastic guy and I was proud to photograph their engagement pictures, as well we their wedding. This year, another dear friend, Lynn is getting hitched! I met up with her and Jeff in Annapolis to capture their engagement, and I am so excited to be photographing their wedding next Fall!

It’s sessions like this that remind me how much I love my job. Congratulations, Lynnie & Jeff! I am so super excited for you two, and it makes my heart full to see you so happy and in love! Cannot wait for next fall!
