She fluttered about in a cozy salon with her closest girls. Each one whispered words of encouragement and loving advice into her ear, smiled, and shed a tear or two. The most laid-back and beautiful bride was Kirstin. She was marrying her best friend that cold and rainy day in October.
In another room, the cuff links were dropping on the floor, jokes were being cracked and smiles were being shared. Chris, the groom, was getting ready with his best men. So terribly handsome were these guys and their love and care for Chris was so completely apparent. Each one of them led Chris proudly down the aisle where he would meet his future wife – his bride. They stood behind him in agreement that Kirstin was it – his one and only.
The room quickly filled with tears. I’ve never seen a more loving ceremony, so emotional and filled with joy. Such is that of Kirstin and Chris. They are radiant with love and they give it freely to everyone they meet…passing on the example of Grace to which they both so eagerly cling.
The wedding was held at the lovely Londtontown Gardens in Edgewater, Maryland. Their party was truly a celebration and a kick-off to Kirstin and Chris’ new life together. A happy send off was the perfect ending to the night. Congratulations Kirstin and Chris, I wish you many blessings and adventures as a married couple. You are amazing witnesses to those who surround you. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!
Kirstin is STUNNING! She was full of smiles all day, too!
Kirstin and her Dad…love this moment!
Chris is one of the nicest people I’ve met. He’s so kind and he is just so sweet to Kirstin!
While the guys were doing this…
Kirstin and her closest girls were inside praying together. Some of the kindest blessings were prayed and it was truly an emotional moment for everyone.
The vows.
Although the weather was rather cold for mid-October, it had also been raining all day. Thankfully, it stopped raining, but the ground and gardens were SOAKED. It didn’t stop us…Chris and Kirstin were such troopers and were up for just about anything! This is one of my favorites from the day!
Londontown is set on the South (?) River in Edgewater, Maryland. This would have been the spot for their wedding, but due to rain and the freezing temperatures, the wedding moved inside. Nonetheless, there was a gorgeous view!
Instead of cake for the guests, there were cupcakes!
Chris and Kirstin were singing to each other here. Such a sweet moment to themselves during their hopping reception!
And off they went! I know this picture is blurry, but somehow I love it.
Congrats again, Kirstin and Chris!
